What does Idle Hands mean?

- Idle Hands is part of an old saying, "Idle Hands are the devils playground". In our minds that means if you aren't being productive, you're going to make more trouble for yourself. We named our company (with the help of a close friend) because we truly believe that if we keep working, good things will come our way.

 

What does your logo represent?

-our logo was designed by one of the owners. To us it represents inclusivity. Everyone is welcome, everyone is able to use what we make, and everyone is family. Our logo is more than a logo, it is a beacon of hope and community. 

 

How is your product made?

-No labs. No chemists. No warehouses. At this point in time it is made entirely by hand. 

 

Do you have a manufacturer that helps you?

-No. At the moment we have no interest in one. Eventually, as we grow it will become a necessity, but when we do we would either like to make our  own manufacturing unit and provide jobs to people that need them. If we can't do that then we would want to stick local to either Kentucky or Missouri. 

 

Sometimes your product looks different. Why is that?

-We are still making everything by hand and are still in the early stages of development. As time moves forward consistency will become more stable, but in the early stages you may see different textures and colors. The product will ALWAYS work the same, no matter what, but may change in look from time to time. 

 

How do you come up with the scents, and why is it not super masculine?

-We generally just get together and come up with unique ideas for scents. Not all of them make it to the drawing board, but we sift through the ones that won't work and choose the best of the best. We don't make super masculine tones in our products because we want to remain gender neutral. Men, Women, whatever. You're all welcome to the Idle Hands family. 

 

What if I own a shop, can I get your stuff wholesale?

-Yes, the answer is always yes. We will have to option to order through our website soon, but for now, general information and pricing can be answered through our email address: info@idlehandsproductco.com
